Gene has leukemia. Doctors are still running tests to determine the type of leukemia which will provide direction for his treatment. Before he transfers to a hospital better equipped to treat his leukemia, Gene is receiving treatment for pneumonia in one lung and a possible kidney issue. Pray for Gene's health. Pray for clear direction for his caretakers. Pray for Jan who is at home alone. (Gene has been under sedation so they haven't even been able to speak over the phone.) Pray for our church as we walk together with Jan and Gene through this trial.
