Update on Cori...

An update on Cori: she is at Children's Hospital in Oakland hooked up to an IV drip of antibiotics, making sure the bacteria is cleared out of her intestines before the doctors can remove her appendix. Surgery will depend on how fast the bacteria leaves her system, please pray for a successful and speedy recovery.

Peace of Mind and Healing

Please pray for Ginny Dottaviano, she is in a rehab facility and is just not doing well.  Pray for wisdom for the doctors as they evaluate her condition.  Pray for peace of mind and healing.

Pain Relief

Please pray for friend Fran who is in a lot of pain.  She had her wisdom teeth removed and is suffering from one dry socket.  Guide the dentist in his treatment and give her relief from the pain.  Thank you.

My husband's cousin fell a couple days ago and fx her hip.  Surgery went well and

therapy has her up walking,  Hopefully after a few weeks of PT, she will be able

to return home.  Prayers for healing to continue  with no complications.

Our Godchild Becki Saldate-Banke gave birth to a healthy baby girl weighing 6 lbs 13 ounces, 20 inches long at 12:22pm yesterday, Dec. 17th! Continued Prayer for Becki's healing as she had Autum Claire Banke  by C-section.

Frank Moyer is at the VA hospital in Palo Alto with back pain.  He's having tests run to determine the cause and treatment.  Please pray for his comfort and successful treatment so he can return home by Christmas.

Support and Healing

Please include my dear friend of over 50 yrs. in your daily prayers.  The doctors are

trying to determine whether she is having seizures or a tia episode.  She and her

husband are Christians and active in their church back in Wisconsin. Not being able

to drive and awaiting test results have left her feeling very depressed.

Surgery success and Healing

Hong Kong healthcare is much different than here.  They called my daughter-in-law yesterday to say the surgery for Kit Wan, her mother, would be this afternoon.  Please pray for her calmness, the medical staff, a successful surgery and a normal recovery time.

Strength and Perseverance

I have a friend who is an alcoholic. After months of sobriety she has begun drinking again. Today she asked me to help her. We searched the web, called some numbers and found two AA meeting places in San Lorenzo where she lives.  I ask all my Calvary prayer partners to please pray to the Lord asking Him to give her the courage, strength and perseverance she needs to get up tomorrow morning and attend this first of many meetings.   Please pray for her to fight her way back to sobriety with God's help.

Home and Healing

Prayers of praise, Carole Adams came home on Monday.  Prayers of encouragement and patience as the healing process has been very slow for her.  Her head and heart are ready to go, but her body is just not ready yet. 

Recovery

Prayers for Jen Kreienkamp who will be having a hip laparoscopy on Dec. 20 to fix two tears.  This will involve 6 months of recovery, but Jen is hopeful to be walking around in 10 days.  Please pray for a successful procedure with no complications and full recovery.

Healing and Comfort

Please pray for my daughter-in-law's Mother, Kit Wan, who will be having surgery in Hong Kong this week. Pray for her to be less anxious and for guidance for the medical staff and complete recovery.

Also, a prayer of thanksgiving for my friend Ken who is recovered from the infection after surgery.
Please continue to pray for my friend Donna.  She is still recovering from her stroke.  She would like to be driving again soon.
