Prayer for Jonathan Ellis

Jonathan's cancer has not responded to treatment.

Please pray with us... This prayer request came from Steve Ellis. Please pray for comfort my brother and his family. The oncologist told them today that he has only a few months. The cancer is spreading/growing rapidly. The cancer meds may give him a few add'l months, but his condition will not really improve from his current condition. They are starting palliative care to help out. (Pray for Steve Ellis, Sue Ellis, and Sandy Silva as they walk through this time with their brother, and we walk with them as family at Calvary. - Pastor Matt) Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.

Please pray with us... This prayer request came from Dave Mueller. Marlene was admitted to St. Rose Hospital yesterday morning with low oxygen levels. She has tested positive for covid. Please pray for her healing. Dave will be tested for the virus today. Pray for his health as well, and for Marlene to return home soon to recover from illness in her own home. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.

Please pray with us... This prayer request came from Jan Curler. Gene Curler had a cancerous spot removed from his left forearm this morning. Pray for comfortable recovery and no spread of this cancer. He also has a surgery coming in November to remove a spot on his forehead. Pray for protection, peace and health for Gene. Prayer request for Jonathan Ellis.

Please pray with us... This prayer request came from Steve Ellis. We would like to continue to ask for prayers for my brother Jonathan.  A little over a week ago he developed pneumonia and it has really affected his breathing.  They had to take him off any cancer treatments until the pneumonia is gone.  He has been experiencing panic attacks that he can't breath.  He went to  the ER on Thursday with breathing difficulties.  They took both an x-ray and a CT scan and are concerned about an area on his lung that was not present on his last PET scan.  This may indicate that the cancer is developing quickly. He was released on Friday afternoon. He sees the oncologist on Tuesday.  We are praying that the doctor can give him some good news and that he can get back on the cancer treatments quickly. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
