 | Prayer Requests For Gloria |
| I would like to add prayers for my twin sister Gloria, as she has been sick for the last two months. She has had repeated bowel issues and has become malnourished and is now on TPN, an intraveneous feeding solution.(She cant have normal abdominal tube feedings) The doctors at UCSF have decided this will not resolve on its own, so she will remain on TPN until she is stronger and then undergo surgery in October sometime. The last surgery she had (at John Hopkins) was 12 hours, and they expect this to be no different. It is very risky and her overall long term health is very much in jeopardy. She has no quality of life right now as pain and nausea are debilitating her daily. We pray the surgery will be able to resolve the area in question and bring her restored health. She is very nervous and discouraged about the surgery and the outcome, so I also request prayers for God to lift her spirits and bring her peace and courage to face this hurdle ahead of her... |
