  Gerry and I would like to thank all of our Calvary friends and family as well as the quilters and the prayer warriors for the prayers , cards, visits and meals we have received over the past two years. The many prayers offered for the healing of Gerry's three hip surgeries and the most recent for myself after the accident and surgery that followed. | Please pray for Bill Oliver who is being treated with IV and oral antibiotics for infection in his recent shoulder replacement. He's not feeling bad but his surgeon is very concerned about this.   Please pray for Bill Oliver. The infection in his shoulder looked worse Monday so his surgeon sent him to San Leandro Hospital and will clean it out Tuesday morning at 11:00. Pray that the infection will clear up and not go into the bone. Thank you, Virginia Oliver |

| My brother Mark is in surgery at the Mayo Clinic as I write this email. It's quite an involved surgery and estimated to be an 8 - 10 hr surgery. Its focus is reconstructing nerves and relieving pressure on nerves that are compressed in his damaged arm. Please, pray for a successful surgery, the best outcome and that his spirit remains hopeful.

| Prayers of Praise & Thanksgiving Continued prayers are being requested for Ariana Guttirez After completing her first round of chemotherapy her lab work came back and there were NO CANCER CELLS PRESENT Miracles do happen! Please keep Ariana in your prayers for complete healing as she continues to be monitored and her second round of chemotherapy has been put on hold. |

  Prayers for Katie Please keep Katie Ellis in your prayers at this time as she was taken to the emergency room yesterday do to severe pain. After examination they determined that is was her appendix causing the pain and she will have it removed today. Pray for Katie that she will be more comfortable after the surgery and that she has complete healing. Pray for the doctors and staff to be guided by the hands of God and that the surgery goes as planned with no complications. |

  Please keep Little Katie in your prayers today . She will be going in for surgery in about 20 minuets Please pray for guidance for the doctors and staff that will be taking care of Katie. Pray that all goes as planned and that she will have a speedy recovery. Also keep Mom & Dad in your prayers as they wait for her surgery to be over. | Prayers of praise and thanksgiving for the very successful brain surgery yesterday for baby Ryanna. For pain management she will probably go home today or tomorrow. She was baptized on Saturday and will be undergoing the surgery tomorrow Wednesday, October 26th, at 6:30 a.m. Pray for His guidance for the surgeon and his team and complete healing. | Please continue to pray for Haley. She is the 20 yr old that was in a serious car accident. She was out of the hospital 1 day and went in the following day with a fever. She is unable to keep any food down. Please pray for wisdom of the doctors treating her. Also pray for her and her family to have Jesus in their lives. |

| Sad/Happy News All we know at this time is that he fell ill in the village he was serving. They transported him to a better medical facility where he passed away. The news is Sad because of ours and the people of Ghana's loss. The news is Happy because Mike has gone to be with his Savior, while doing the work he loved.

| Please keep Margie in your prayers: Margie suffered a fall at home that resulted in 6 broken ribs and 2 cracked vertebra! The good news is that the Doctors currently believe that the back will heal without surgery. She has received medication for the pain in her ribs and will be in the hospital for the next few days. Prayers of thanksgiving are requested that it wasn't worse! And prayers are requested for her healing. Please keep her entire family in your prayers also. As they seek to help in her recovery. |
