I would like to request a prayer for a fellow teacher and friend, Christina Horton Oka. Christina's husband, Jason, passed away suddenly yesterday while Christina and their two children were on their first day back at school! I just received the news and it has shaken me even though it's been years since Christina taught at Zion. I've been in contact with her through Facebook and she still visits Zion when she travels to California. She taught my three daughters when they were in the 5th grade.
