Healing and Strength

To our Calvary Lutheran family, many thanks for your prayers. The Lord is gracious and kind. As you already know, Peter is losing hair. Almost half of his hair has fallen out. We were very concerned. Last Monday, the doctor did some blood tests and yesterday a specialist examined him further. Both returned promising results. The specialist said, Peter will outgrow this disorder and the doctor said, the lab test results were all normal. Although Peter is not completely healed yet, the Lord just told us not to worry. For that we could not be happier. We thank the Lord and all of you for caring. May the Lord always bless all of you and give you peace. Thank you,

Took son, Stephen to the doctor yesterday morning and found out he has Type1diabetes. He's been admitted to Kaiser Oakland, to get sugars stabilized and educate us. Probably 2-3 days. His sugars were 427 when admitted; 80 -100 is normal. He seems to be doing ok with diagnosis, but this is all still new.  Pray for strength and encouragement.
