Prayers of healing for Michelle Geach who will be having surgery possibly next week, prayers for a successful surgery with no complications and complete healing.

Also, for Matthew Geach, Joel and Michelle's son- he recently had another seizure (first one in 2 and 1/2 years) Tests are being run to see what caused the seizure.

Doctors' Wisdom and Healing

Please add Jacob to your prayers...He's been sick with weakness, dizziness, nausea and weight loss for the past month. He has only been back to school a few days since the Appendectomy on April 9th. We have ruled out Mono, parasites, Celiac Disease and a few others. He is now being tested for Addisons Disease, a rare disease affecting the Adrenal glands and the hormones they produce. One of Jacobs teachers actually mentioned that he had Addisons and Jacobs symptoms are similar to his before he was diagnosed and treated. 

 

Please pray that we can find the cause for these symptoms quickly, or that they just go away for good!

Its like searching for a needle in a hay stack as these symptoms could have so many different causes. We just need to eliminate them one by one in order to find the correct diagnosis.  Jacob had the blood screening test for Addisons this morning and they should be back in about a week, hopefully sooner.

Comfort and encouragement

Prayers of encouragement for Tiffany Contier's friend, Jennifer.  Jennifer's father was in a motorcycle accident a year ago.  He communicates by blinking or signing and has been hospitalized this whole time. Jennifer has been by his side through all this and is very discouraged.  Her dad has not opened his eyes at all this week (very unusual).  Please pray Jennifer to come to know the Lord and to feel His love with her as she goes through this.

Comfort

Please pray for the Diaz family.  They have a kindergartener and a second grader in our school.  Mrs. Diaz's sister died suddenly on Monday.  Please pray for peace and comfort.

Comfort and Recovery

Update on Darlene Goldhammer-  surgery was very successful.  Darlene is being moved this afternoon around 4pm to a rehab care, where she could be for up to 2 weeks, just depends on how long her recovery takes.  She is very thankful for all of your prayers.  Please continue to pray as she recovers and for no complications.

Healing

Prayers of healing for Diane Nishwitz. She is having internal bleeding and this is her second trip to hospital.  Doctors have not been able to figure out were the blood is coming from.  Please have David, husband of Diane, and Diane in prayer.   She is Vanessa Nishwitz's Mother-in-Law.

 

Darlene Goldhammer's surgery went well. As of 2:30pm she is in recovery doing well and will be staying overnight.

Thanksgiving and Protection

I will be having ankle replacement surgery on Friday, May 18, and ask for your prayers for successful and uneventful surgery.  For 6 weeks I will be unable to put any weight on my right foot so I will appreciate your continued prayers as well.  Please remember Howard in prayer also as he becomes my caregiver.

 

Patti and Sydney, our daughter and granddaughter, are on a mission trip to Mexico with Sydney's 7th grade class from Twin Lakes School in Santa Cruz.  Please pray for the safety and well being of the group of 12 children and 7 adults.  They will return Friday, May 18. Howard and Darlene Goldhammer

Prayers of peace and comfort for Leah & Jason Aguilar and family for the sudden loss of a loved one in the Philippines.  Leah's husband, Jason will be making travel arrangements to go be with the family.  Prayers of hope and encouragement for Leah and Jason and family as they have experienced many valleys over the last few weeks.

Just a reminder that this Sunday, May 13 is our Call Meeting where we will be voting on one of the two Pastors.  Please keep this in prayer and for the Lord to guide our decision.

Wisdom and Healing

Prayers of healing and for a miracle for Christina Grace's 5 year old niece, Danielle.  She is being treated for cancer. Doctors are trying to determine what type of cancer.  The tumor can not be removed until it shrinks, however it is now wrapping around her aorta and is growing at a rapid pace.  Pray for her parents Roxy and Mark and for wisdom as the doctors try to shrink the tumor so it can be removed as soon as possible.

Prayer request for Amy Goldhammer's family, her grandmother, Betsy Fong passed away Sunday night.  Please pray for peace and comfort for the family.

Prayers of healing for Rebecca Esparza's uncle Pete. (Rebecca is a former member), he has esophageal cancer, and had his voice box removed, stage IV cancer.  He had to go back to the hospital for an infection. We are asking for wisdom for the docs and comfort for the family.

Rest and Healing

Please pray for Noah Storm, a 15-year old who has been diagnosed as unable to produce blood platelets.  He has had to give up any physical activity where he might be bruised or cut for fear of bleeding.  The first treatment was not successful.  Please pray for healing and freedom from fear for Noah and for his parents and grandparents.

Prayers of healing for Karen Rippy, 57 years old (Lisa Souza's sister).  Karen has been in the hospital for about 3 weeks, she is waiting for a liver transplant and is now in complete organ failure.  Prayers for wisdom for the doctors to find out what is causing this and for a donor.

Josiah had his surgery yesterday (Tues., May 1).  All went well.  Thanks to everyone for the prayers and especially the quilt ladies.  The prayer quilt went to the hospital with him!!

Just a correction from yesterday.... Prayers of healing and comfort for Judy Fagin's daughter (not Cindy) whose cancer has returned.  (Judy is a Wittenberg Resident)

Also, prayers of healing, emotional and spiritual uplifting for Edith Mena's sister-in-law Dee Lazaga.  She's been battling cancer for some time now and is spending a lot more time in the hospital.  She has three children, one 18 year old autistic daughter, another child in college and a 14 year old son.  May the Lord surround this whole family during this time and fill them with courage, peace and strength.
