E-Prayer for Toni's Friend Linda

E-Prayer My dear friend Linda just learned she has ovarian cancer. She lives in Seattle; her husband recently lost his job at Boeing when the 787 aircraft began having problems. He just secured work in Wichita at Cesna his former employer. Linda is still in Seattle packing up their apartment. Linda lost a sister to this cancer a few years ago and has another sister who is a cancer survivor. Linda is feeling very alone at the moment meeting with doctors. She is a strong christian woman and has asked for our prayers. Please pray for The Lord to wrap his arms around her in comfort giving her strength and healing and guiding the doctors to make the best decisions for her. Blessings Toni

E-Prayer for Larry Lyon

E-Prayer Please pray for my uncle, Larry Lyon (my dad's brother). He had surgery this past week that was supposed to correct his spinal damage. While in there they discovered they can not fix him and predict that he will be completely paralyzed within two years. He has struggled with mobility for years now. He loves being out and about - mostly fishing the Alaskan waters. Please pray for healing, patience, and wisdom. Please also pray for my dad (Gary) and his other brothers (Jim & Jerry) as they all try to accept, cope, and move on in the midst of some other deeper issues. Thanks so much. E-Prayer On Monday, July 29, Connor Martchenke will have surgery on his kidney.  Please pray for wisdom for the medical team, complete healing for Connor, peace for him and his family, and - most of all - that God would be glorified in all that is done.

E-Prayer Praise that I have been released from the hospital and that the body brace I have been given seems to be help relieve my discomfort.    Please pray that I will need no additional hospitalization and that the remainder of my healing time will go smoothly. Darlene Goldhammer

E-Prayer Please pray for my step-mom, Rita Brown.  She is in the late stages of Alzheimer's and has been placed on hospice.  Please pray for comfort for her and our family.

E-Prayer Please pray for Jon (Nancy Keep's son) as his brain cancer has returned for the 3rd time in the past 18 yrs. He has had surgeries in the past to remove the cancer but unfortunately it has returned. Prayers are needed for guidance during this difficult time when he and his doctors need to decide what the next step will be. Please pray for God to help guide him of what treatment plan should be done at this time.

E-Prayer for Darlene Goldhammer

E-Prayer Please pray for Darlene Goldhammer, who is still in Stanford hospital.  Pray that her back would stabilize and that she would have relief from the pain.  Pray that the back brace she is getting will have the desired effect.  Pray for wisdom and knowledge for the doctors treating her and for peace and comfort for both her and Howard.

E-Prayer Please pray for Darlene Goldhammer.  She is in extreme pain and doctors have not been able to give her relief from it. Pray for wisdom for the doctors, that they will find something that will bring Darlene relief from this intense pain.

Pray for Healing

E-Prayer Please pray for Kathy Witty, a member of the Ellis family.  She has been operated on for cancer and they thought they were able to remove everything. However, they keep finding new holes in her intestine and have to go back in to clean out the infection and sew up the hole.  Then another forms and they have to repeat; the intestine appears to be just falling apart.  the doctor does not hold out much hope and they are recommending that she be placed in hospice, but they are going to check one more time on Thursday to see if any new infections have popped up. If it has come back they will just sew her up and stop trying to fix. She would likely not last too much longer.    Thank you, the Ellis family

Mother's passing

E-Prayer Please pray for the Flynn family as Diane and her sister, Debbie, grieve the passing of their mother.  Diane is also the executrix of the estate and is overwhelmed with many issues.  Please pray for her as she deals with all that entails.

Loss of dear former member

E-Prayer Prayers of peace and comfort for Pat Remmert and family of Elk Grove, CA., at the sudden death of husband Mel this past Sunday of an aneurism.  Pat and Mel were former members of Calvary and Pat was a teacher at Calvary for many years. Funeral arrangements have not yet been made.

Bike injury

E-Prayer Please pray for Hanna Suppus (daughter of Cindy, School Secretary) as she was riding her bike this morning and went over the handle bars causing injury to her abdominal area. She is at Eden Hospital now awaiting a CT scan. Please pray for the Doctors for guidance and knowledge in treating her injuries, and for Hanna for peace and  comfort. God bless.

Relief from Pain
