Dear Calvary Friends, Thank you to all who have and continue to pray for my brother Mark Ramirez's recovery.  He came through the surgery without complications and his surgeon was pleased with the nerve's responses.  It may take between six months to a year for the nerves to recover so that he regains movement and feeling in his hand and wrist but she sounded very hopeful which keeps his spirit hopeful too.      Mark   asked me to thank each of you too for your concern and remembering him in prayer.  He is very appreciative to all of you.

Please pray for Bill Oliver who is being treated with IV and oral antibiotics for infection in his recent shoulder replacement.  He's not feeling bad but his surgeon is very concerned about this.  We will be with our children and grandchildren during Thanksgiving week.     Thank you for your prayers.           Virginia Oliver

Please pray for Bill Oliver.  The infection in his shoulder looked worse Monday so his surgeon sent him to San Leandro Hospital and will clean it out Tuesday morning at 11:00.  Pray that the infection will clear up and not go into the bone.     Thank you,       Virginia Oliver

My brother Mark is in surgery at the Mayo Clinic as I write this email.  It's quite an involved surgery and estimated to be an 8 - 10 hr surgery.  Its focus is reconstructing nerves and relieving pressure on nerves that are compressed in his damaged arm.    Please, pray for a successful surgery, the best outcome and that his spirit remains hopeful. Prayers of Praise & Thanksgiving   Continued prayers are being requested for   Ariana Guttirez   After completing her first round of chemotherapy her lab work came back and there were   NO CANCER CELLS PRESENT   Miracles do happen!   Please keep Ariana in your prayers for complete healing as she continues to be monitored and her second round of chemotherapy has been put on hold.

Prayers for Katie   Please keep Katie Ellis in your prayers at this time as she was taken to the emergency room yesterday do to severe pain.   After examination they determined that is was her appendix causing the pain and she will have it removed today.   Pray for Katie that she will be more comfortable after the surgery and that she has complete healing.   Pray for the doctors and staff to be guided by the hands of God and that the surgery goes as planned with no complications.
