Healing

Prayers of healing for Don Squaglia, 61 year old man, hit by a car, thrown 80 feet in air.  At Eden with internal injuries and broken pelvis.  Rehab could take up to 2 years.  (he just recently recovered from a stroke) This is a friend of Jan Curlers

Also, prayers of healing and comfort for Amy (friend of Jan's daughter, Lynn) just recently diagnosed with breast cancer.

Thanksgiving

Prayers of thanksgiving, Frank Mitchell is home and doing well.  He is very grateful for all of your prayers.  Prayers for continued healing.

Living Assistance

Please add my friend Monique to your prayers.  I received a call from her that there was a fire in her apartment complex.  She has no idea if her apartment will be accessible at all to gather any of her belongings or if it even exists anymore.  She is from Poland and does not have family in the States.  Please pray that she will be able to find a few of her cherished belongings and that she can find a place to live.

Comfort and Peace

Jan & I are asking if your prayer groups would please pray for Debi Barnhart our 3rd from the oldest daughter (51 yrs. old) who has lung cancer - stage 4 and is in ICU at Irvine (at the cancer hospital).  We were told yesterday that she may have 1-2 weeks to go.  They have called in a couple doctors from UCLA to evaluate the situation to be sure that nothing else can be done.  The family and many brothers and sisters in Christ are still believing for a miracle, but Debi is prepared to go and it is a win - win situation for her as she is a believer.  By the way, she never smoked.  She was exposed to second hand when Jan & I smoked which was when she was much younger.  Your prayers will be greatly appreciated.  God's blessings to the brothers/sisters at Calvary.

Hip Replacement

Prayers for a successful hip replacement for Frank Mitchell.  He just went in to surgery.

Comfort

Prayers of peace and comfort for Kim Heggins and family, her 83 year old aunt, Shirley Ramos died suddenly.  She died peacefully in her sleep but very unexpectedly.

Prayer Quilt

Dear Christian Friends,

My cousin Shelia wishes to thank you for the beautiful prayer quilt and for all your prayers. Please continue to pray for her as she starts tomorrow morning the 4 chemo treatments 3 weeks apart. Pray for her to be able to tolerate the chemo and have a remission outcome for the lung cancer.

Healing and Recovery

Prayers of healing for Christina Grace's Uncle Robbie.  He was admitted into emergency last evening due to an infection that has spread to his heart.  He now needs a heart valve replaced.  Pray for wisdom for the doctors and for a complete recovery.

Healing and Safety

Prayers of healing and safety for Jan Curler's grandson Jared (16) who was admitted last evening for an accidental drug overdose.

Also, for Sam (a friend of Jan's daughter Lynn) she needs to have her gallbladder removed, but has no insurance.  Pray for the Lord's will to be done.

Comfort and Relief

Please pray for Lynn Jackson ( a mom of one of our students).  She has been under a lot of stress and had to be taken to Emergency the day before Thanksgiving.  She had chest pains and pain radiating down one arm.  Her mother passed away during the summer, and now her father is not doing well.  She went on stress-leave from her full-time job to recover her health and to care for her father. 

Healing

Prayers of thanksgiving and continued healing for preschooler, Jonathan Estiphanos' 4 month older brother, Matthew who was in a traumatic accident over Thanksgiving break.  Prayers of peace and comfort for the family as they heal emotionally.
