Help for family

Please pray for my daughter, Aidann and me.   I'm going through a very difficult time in my marriage, and unfortunately, Aidann's family structure is at stake. I don't know what is to happen, all I know is that I have placed the outcome in the Lord's hands.  I don't know His will, but I must accept it.  Please pray that His will be done.

Pray for outreach

A co-worker, Dennis, asked me to pray for him at the end of work today.  He recently lost his favorite aunt to cancer and has been struggling with depression.  Add to that he is 50, alone and and struggling with thoughts of self destructive.  I immediately prayed with him and let him know I would add him to our prayer list.

He was taken to church as a child and thinks he is a Christian, but does not practice it.  He says he is a good person and is spiritual, but  I am very concerned for his soul.  Also, pray for me for the wisdom and compassion to continue to reach out to him.

Prayers for our friend, Al Preto who broke his clavicle last week in a bicycle accident. Pray for healing and strength as he faces potential surgery and plays Dad to a 7 month old.

Prayers of strength for the Martchenke family as Bill has accepted a job transfer to Colorado. We will be moving August 8. Please pray we find a home and that the transition will be easy for the boys.  Martchenkes'

 

Many of you may know Rebecca Esparza and her family. She previously attended Calvary. Her sister in law Raeanne, has been found with lump in the breast area andthey don''t think it is cancer, but a lymphoma. New Baby!

Prayers of thanksgiving for baby boy Michael Loyd Nishwitz, born on July 20 at 7:18pm, 6 lbs 11.9 ounces via C-section.  Both mommy and baby are doing well.  Please pray for a quick recovery.  Congrats Jon and Vanessa! :-)

HERE IS A BIG, BIG PRAISE!!!!  OUR NEIGHBOR, DERRICK WHO WAS TOLD HE HAD ONLY A2% CHANCE OF SURVIVAL FROM BRAIN CANCER HAD A 5HR, SURGERY LAST WEEK AND THE DOCTORS TOLD HIM THAT THERE IS NO SIGN OF CANCER,THEY HAVE NO EXPLAINATION , EXCEPT THE CANCER IS NO LONGER THER. THE FAMILY OF DERRICK CAME OVER ,SAID TO THANK ALL OF YOU FOR THE PRAYERS. BY THE WAY THEY ARE JOVIAH WITNESS, BUT THEY ARE NOW BELIEVING IN MIRACLES & POWER OF PRAYER. PRAISE THE LORD!!!!!!!

Prayers for Dave and Cindy Schultz' friends, Kim & Gary Jose and family, their grandbaby, due in 3-4 months, is in grave danger of not surviving, due to pregnancy complications. We need a miracle for them. Also continued prayers for Kim as she has this added burden in addition to husband, Gary's Alzheimer's disease.

Thank you all so much for your prayers for my family.  We are all doing ok, mom and dad having the hardest time adjusting.  Tammy has a job with a call center on the weekends.  She has an interview at 5am eastern time Weds. morning with UPS.  Looks like she has the job and is more of a walk through and formality, but please keep her in your prayers.  Thank you all so much for the prayers, I feel they have really been helping.  I'll be back in the office on Tuesday, July 19.  Thank you.

God Works Miracles!

Good afternoon;

Received an email update through Barbara Goldhammer from Annie, whose sister is Bobbi Jo - here it is!

A huge thanks to all of you for your thoughts & prayers . After all the dr's said bobbi jo's chances of ever waking up was nearly impossible, this afternoon when they brought her body out of hypothermic state and rewarmed her completley  at 400pm they were trying to stimulate by doing pain points on her body and she responded in ways no one expected, she's following commands, slowly waking up. Every md and rn in this hospital has been by her room since in disbelief that she is awake after being down without a pulse for so long. I've been by her side, she recognized me and grabbed my hand. They have since extabated her ( took her off life support) and she is being supported by only a few liters of oxygen. She's going through boughts of nausea, really bad headaches and a few abnormal rhythms on her heart monitor so we are watching her closely to make sure her heart doesn't stop again. The dr's told me she had sudden cardiac death. Yesterday I thought I was going to have to plan her funeral and now things have suprisingly turned for the best. I can't even believe it. We told the staff here how tough bobbi jo is, never did I think she could overcome this. I compare my happiness to the same as when my son was born , except my sister has been brought back to life again. She's not out of the woods yet, but I wanted to thank you ALL for being here for me during this very hard time. So far she has really bad short term memory loss, which dr's say should get better in a couple days. They will be doing a ton of cardiac testing on her to see what happened. She is a miracle.  She's her fiesty normal self. So thank you for praying for her. She's got a little girl waiting for her to get back home. Please keep her in your thoughts and thank you all SO VERY MUCH. I'm so lucky to have you all and your support right now.

Please pray for Amy's friend, Annie, and her family.  Her sister, Bobbie Jo, a thirty-something year old woman had major cardiac arrest Friday.  Today (Sunday) or tomorrow they will run a brain scan to see if there is any brain activity, the doctors are not hopeful.

Doug Clark

Good afternoon:

Please pray for our neighbor, Doug Clark, who is in ICU at the Palo Alto Veterans Hospital.  He had major heart surgery on Thursday; Friday morning he had emergency surgery to remove his colon.  He is not doing well.  Please pray for his survival and  recovery and that he and his wife Linda could experience the Lord's healing touch.

Please pray for my family as we adjust to having Tammy gone.  She left this morning for PA with my dad who was visiting for two weeks.  Very emotional morning for all of us as we said our good byes.  Pray for a safe flight and for Tammy to have an easy adjustment after all the newness and excitement wears off.  And please pray for us as we walk through the house seeing and smelling memories of Tammy everywhere, were like a bunch of babies right now, it's silly!  God bless you all and thank you for your prayers.

Prayers for our new principal, Fred Brauer, and family at the passing of his father, Frederick, this afternoon at the age of 86. Prayers of comfort for Fred's mother and for all who will be traveling to say farewell.

We want to praise and thank the Lord that our friend Charlie Mew came safely through his surgery on June 29.  The surgery was a little less extensive than expected and his recovery is going well.

Robert Nielsen passing

My cousin Robert H. Nielsen passed away on June 24th and his Memorial service is tomorrow at 11am. Please Pray for His children and Grandchildren and the Nielsen family. Praise the Lord he is now in His Heavenly Home! He was a wonderful Danish Gentleman. Thank you, Dave and Marlene (Nielsen) Mueller
